Are you thinking about going on a few day diet?

The common few day diet is an extremely low-calorie diet that declares you will lose anywhere between 3 and 13 pounds (depending on who is truly telling the truth) in simply just a few days.

Of all, I’m going to begin my few day diet review with the excellent points. The diet plan is very low in calories.

Some versions consist of a grapefruit at every meal which indicates the plan has just under a thousand calories.

Others include it at simply one meal which takes you to hovering around 810 calories.

Undoubtedly, these calorie levels are not sustainable, so please, however, remember this is just a few day diet.

You can quickly for that long, so having some food to keep you going won’t hurt you.

The second positive thing I’m going to mention in my few day diet reviews is that there is no elegant cooking required to sustain this plan.

If you can boil an egg and cook veggies in the microwave, you can go on this diet.

The foods needed are standard: cottage cheese, cracker crackers, carrots, apples, etc., and I like to add some weight-loss herbs like the wonderful tea detox.

The third thing that is great about this and along with still some herbal diet pills is that the food you are asked to eat in no way harms you.

You’ll be eating fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and so on.

Previously I discussed free available information on the internet about fat burning fruits to eat just before bedtime, and more for reaching your fitness goals.

In lots of thought, you are much better off with this program than you would be consuming a number of meals at a junk-food joint.

There’s no “trick” to the few day plan, it’s just very low in calories.

There are some disadvantages to the plan.

You might just lose a couple of pounds for all of the starving, not the 12 pounds some advocates declare.

I would be remiss in not pointing out that extended usage of this program would surely lead to anorexia.

The names of a few plans always mention something like, “A Few Day Diet” for a reason– it needs to only be used for a couple of days.

Another thing worth mentioning in this few day plan evaluations is that you are most likely going to be starving on this program.

The meals are rather small.

Breakfast and lunch are about maybe 220 calories a piece, and yet dinner has to do with 370, or so, calories.

If you have always been taking in say, around 2,500 or better calorie diet plans (exactly what the majority of Americans consume), you are going to be famished.

If you can suck it up and say “it’s only a few days” you’ll survive, and certain herbal tea to help lose weight will nip and add some comfort off some of your hunger pains.

You are most likely to offer in to your urge to eat more if you are not psychologically ready for the cravings challenges on the few day plan.

In brief, the few day diet does work. You can’t go on the plan on an extended basis.

My few day plan reviews general picture is that if you want to drop weight for a specific purpose in the very near future (a business event next weekend, perhaps a dance or wedding and the like, or an upcoming high school reunion), it may then be worth doing.

As an extended plan, you will need to do more and get more involved with the seriousness of your goals.

Self Improvement Advice – Take Your Eyes Off Of Yourself


Have you given any thought to the amount of money Americans spend each year on self improvement? In the year 2005, $1.14 Billion was spent on self-improvement books alone. That’s not to mention the advice we seek from the internet, seminars, doctors, counselors, preachers and even psychics. Obviously, we have come to the conclusion that we need help, so why aren’t we getting any better?

We know that we need self improvement tips for over eating, smoking, alcoholism, abusive relationships, eating disorders, dysfunctional families, porn addictions…the list goes on forever. As a matter of fact, it seems the longer we stare at the list of issues, the more tips we need! We are focusing on a laundry list of issues, nitpicking ourselves to death and spending millions of dollars searching for self improvement tips on each separate issue. My advice is STOP!

Is that Really Good Advice? You bet it is. All of our issues come from deep within, so why not focus on the inner self and forget the laundry list? What you have deep within you depends 100% on what you feed into your mind. Your parents, teachers and peers fed your inner self when you were a child. Now, you feed your inner self through what you read, hear and see. This is called spiritual food and it may well be time for you to change your diet!

You are what you eat, both physically and spiritually. If you have heard negative, hurtful words all of your life, you have negative, hurtful thoughts. If you have been rejected and wounded, you are filled with painful, fearful thoughts. Eventually, this inner pain comes out. All of those ugly words will manifest in your life. Then, what do you do? You put the “stuff” that came out on your laundry list. You start trying to work your way down the list, knocking off bad habits and behaviors one by one.

Again, I advise you to stop! Instead, look deep within yourself and learn a little more about what is in there. More importantly, consider who put it there. Is your inner self built by blocks of loving words of wisdom, giving you a sturdy, stable foundation. Or is your inner self built on someone’s negative words of pain and anger, leaving you weak in the knees?

Change your spiritual diet. Feed yourself with God’s loving words of wisdom each and every day. Think about His words, meditate on them throughout the day. This WILL give you new, healthy thoughts. It will give you a new inner self. His words will manifest in your life and the issues on your laundry list will fall away one by one. That will eliminate our need to spend $1.14 billion on self improvement books each year! (Wow! Just imagine what we could do for world hunger with $1.14 billion!)
